Harvest Festival

harvest2.jpgEvery weekend in October is Harvest-time. Fall is all about the pumpkin here at Fir Point Farms. And we mean really big pumpkins too. The first Saturday of each October is dedicated to the gigantic squash at the Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off. Growers from all over the Pacific Northwest come to compete for thousands of dollars and the bragging rights for growing the biggest and the best. Pumpkins as heavy as 1,400 lbs. can be seen filling the parking lot in front of the Country Market and greenhouses.

Pick your own pumpkins in our 15 acre Pumpkin Patch, while getting your corn stalks, hay bales and mums for decorating. Celebrate Autumn with us by riding the ponies, touring on our hayride and horse-drawn buggies, winding through the Pitch-Black Hay Maze, sliding down the Giant Hay Slide, riding through the Spooky Tunnel, blasting corn from our new Corn Cannon and playing in Hazel’s Nut House. New this year are the Pumpkin Races which will run each day at noon and 3pm.

Weekend activities run each Saturday and Sunday, 10AM - 5PM.
